Each member brings unique skills and a shared commitment to developing advanced safety solutions. Peter Matos
Peter retired from law enforcement with more than 31 years experience working in both urban and suburban police departments. His experience includes: Patrol, SWAT, Training, Investigative, Narcotics, and Management level positions. Peter has spent many years training and instructing in use of force/firearms applications and reality based scenario training to both law enforcement officers and students.

Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Human Services with an emphasis on Leadership.

Jason Polinski
Jason has over 29 years of diversified law enforcement experience ranging from patrol officer to lieutenant. He created, implemented, and supervised several innovative police initiatives. Jason received the Medal of Merit for researching, creating, and training thousands of first responders and employees in active shooter response. He tirelessly works with schools to make lock-down drills more practical and real.

Lieutenant Polinski was awarded the 2015 Friend of Education Award by District 194 for his continued dedication to education and training that aided in creating safe learning environments.
Jason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Sociology and a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Law Enforcement.


Lee Sloneker
Lee Sloneker has been in the life safety systems business for 40 years and brings a high level of experience in security entrances, mass notification, alert systems and notification systems to the fire and police departments. He is the owner of an alarm and communications company that has furnished, installed and maintained over 500 fire alarm, mass notification and security systems. His company installs systems in a wide range of facilities including hospitals, data centers, offices, churches and schools.
Lee’s employees bring over 250 years combined experience in life safety system design and installation. His staff is highly trained on the systems that they install and take ownership in the critical nature of the systems designed to protect lives. The 3D Response System layers are a natural extension of the product and services provided by his company.

Michelle Frauenshuh
Michelle Frauenshuh, MA, LMFT has been in clinical practice since 1999 and is also a clinical supervisor for the Minnesota LMFT and LPCC boards. Michelle has extensive experience treating PTSD, attachment, chemical dependency, personality disorders and complex family concerns. She has spent over 25 years bringing mental health services to juveniles, and adults who have intersected with corrections and or social services. Michelle is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, is a member of LDR’s crisis management team, and provides threat assessment support to business and schools. She is also a C-STAG trainer.

Michelle is the President of Life Development Resources, a mental health clinic that offers a wide range of therapeutic services across the lifespan with approximately 60 providers on staff. She served on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Mental Health, Dakota County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative, Dakota County Healthy Communities Collaborative, MN DBT Coalition board, and speaks in a variety of contexts regarding trauma interventions, identification of individuals at risk for perpetrating acts of violence, and evidence-based practices.
Heather Cassidy
Heather is a retired detective who spent her career in investigative units such as Narcotics, Cyber Crimes, Special Victim's, Megan's Law, Juvenile, Courts, Computer Forensics, and Domestic Violence. She was also a member of the Passaic County Shooting Response Team which lead the investigations for all police involved shootings across the country.

She was also a long-time member of the Rapid Deployment Team; a team that specialized in crowd control, rioting, and storm safety and aftermath. She took great pride in speaking to students, faculty and parents on Internet Safety and the importance of online safety and anti-bullying.

Heather has a degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Rich Evans
Rich has been in law enforcement for over 26 years and has been a police trainer for much of that time in firearms and use of force. Rich has worked in various capacities including SWAT, investigations, computer forensics, and police management. Rich has spent the past 15 years presenting training topics to community groups, local businesses, and school districts on internet safety, physical security, and active threat response options.

Rich holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts degree in Criminology.
